Detergent for white clothes: that contain: enzymes, optical brighteners, chemical brighteners (should not be used on coloured clothes).
Detergent for coloured clothes: That is alkaline and does not contain bleach.
Neutral detergent for washing delicate fabrics (especially linen and silk).
Bar soap: for hand wash (collars, cuffs, grease stains) before putting the clothes in the washing machine.
Softener: (for towels, wollen and polyester fabrics)
Ammonia (acts as solvent for stains such as: blood, food and protein stains. Also reacts chemically with some acidic grease stains (mix 50ml of neutral detergent/ 100ml ammonia/ and top up with water to make 1 litre).
Stain removers (if available) of protein, tannin, heavy grease for rust stain.
