Mold stains on clothes

In order to remove mold stains on clothes, make a mixture baking soda with vinegar, apply it on the stain and wash as usual.

Another possibility is to soak the fabric in milk at room temperature for two hours. Repeat this process if necessary.

In case the stains are on leather, these should be rubbed with turpentine or paint thinner.

If canvas furniture is stained with mold, soak the stained part with lemon juice  and rub with salt. Dry it in the sun and brush well. If the stain does not get out with this, and the fabric is white, or a light colour, you can try a chlorine based detergent, trying it first on a place that is not very visible in case it fades.

To avoid moulding in suitcases, leave a little bar of soap in the inside.
