To remove bloodstains from fabric, make a paste from cornstarch and water and put it on the stain, covering it completely. Rub the stained area gently (without removing the paste) and leave the garment in the sun until the paste is dry. Then wash the garment, scrubbing the affected area well. If the stain does not come off totally, repeat the process.
Another way of removing bloodstains is to wash them immediately with cold water (never use hot water for this!) and scrub well. If the stain persists, go over it with a cotton ball moistened in hydrogen peroxide and the stain will disappear without a trace!
