Garment Care

The efficacy in the treatment of textiles depends largely on a correct classification of clothing.

It is important to know the composition of detergents in order to choose the most appropriate for each washing.

Although any type of cleaning involves a wear of the fibres, delaying the frequency of washing is harmful because it requires a more aggressive treatment subsequently.

Stains should be removed from garments before washing as this ensures the efficacy of the washing

It is advisable to use softeners on garments that have a high percentage of synthetic fibres or on underwear.

Pre-wash temperatures should not exceed 30ยบ since most biological stains get fixed by heat.

It is best to use of bleach only as a last resort as it weakens fabrics in the long run. It should never be used in hot water and when used, the clothes should be clean, in fact, it should only be used in the second rinse.

Machine drying does not harm fabrics if the correct temperatures are observed for each fabric.
